About
I’m a quant trader in Aarhus, working in European short-term power markets. Most of my days are spent turning research into strategies that trade on their own, and then making sure they keep behaving once they do.
Outside of work I like indoor rowing, reading and eating good food.
Experience
Quant Trader, Impact Energy Trading · Aarhus · 2025–2026
Built a profitable algorithmic trading desk from scratch, along with the platform behind it: research, execution, risk and deployment. It traded day-ahead, intraday and imbalance markets in 10 European countries, and went from its first automated trade to its millionth in under six months.
Quantitative Trader, Terra One · Berlin / remote · 2025
Deep learning for short-term power trading and battery optimisation, working alongside ML researchers.
Quantitative Analyst, InCommodities · Aarhus · 2022–2025
Where I learned CWE power markets properly: day-ahead auctions, continuous intraday and imbalance. I worked across the whole quant lifecycle, from data and research to backtesting, execution and the internal tools around it.
